Maple Run - Austin Real Estate Agent

Maple Run

Maple Run is an established resale neighborhood in southwest Austin off MoPac, William Cannon and Brodie Lane.  The homes built in Maple Run subdivision are from the early 1980’s to the 1990’s ranging from approximately 1100 to 2700 square feet. The typical Maple Run home is a 3-4 bedroom with 2 bathrooms, a 2 car garage and a privacy fenced yard. A majority of the homes are brick and wood exterior, unless they have been updated with the popular Hardy Plank or Hardy Board, concrete type siding.  Maple Run is a popular community for owners who want to be within 10 miles of downtown without the downtown price.

Maple Run Shopping

Maple Run has all the mainstream shopping you could desire from Starbuck’s Coffee to H.E.B. grocery store to CVS Pharmacy.  If you are looking for a more local choice, you can shop for an original lady’s look at Bond Boutique on Slaughter Lane, or order your prescriptions online or walkin at Stonegate Pharmacy on William Cannon.  One of the best shopping venues in Maple Run is Arbor Trails.  This center not only offers convenient shopping for the whole neighborhood with stores such as Costco and Jared’s Fine Jewelers , but exercise as well.  Arbor Trails has an approximate 1.4 mile track you can enjoy day or night for biking, running or just strolling the day away.

Maple Run Local Restaurants

Austin is known for our wide variety of tasty food and cuisines and we have some of Austin’s favorites in the Maple Run area.  Austinites love the funky decor, the Burrito as Big as Yo’ Face and the fresh squeezed lime Margaritas at Chuy’s.  If you are looking for some savory flavors at 2 AM, Kerbey Lane Cafe is open 24 hours offering a host of entrées made with local ingredients such as their Bacon Wrapped Pesto Chicken or their Signature Homemade Pancakes.  My favorite Austin original is Evangeline Cafe serving Curtis’ Grandmother’s Cajun Cuisine and hosting live music. Your taste buds will pop when you bite into the Oysters Contraband or Authentic New Orleans Muffuletta.
