Waterleaf is a community in Kyle, Texas east of Interstate Highway 35. Exit FM 150 from IH35 and head east until you reach one of the two entrances on New Country Road or Waterleaf Boulevard. The development began in early 2000 and new construction continues today as of 2012. The resale homes and new construction range from 1100 square feet to over 3000 square feet with single and two story floor plans built along wide streets. There are sidewalks and cul-de-sacs throughout the community as well.

Waterleaf has many options to offer the outdoor enthusiast. Waterleaf has a four acre community park with sand volleyball, a basketball court, a playscape, swings and a sparkling pool. The pool is equipped with cabanas to hide from the sun, lounge chairs for your relaxation and a baby pool for the little ones. There is also a 20 acre city park called Waterleaf Park with soccer fields, baseball fields, a larger playscape, trails and wide open spaces.
Waterleaf Public Schools
The public schools in Waterleaf are part of the Hays Consolidated Independent School District which was rated Academically Acceptable by the Texas Education Agency for 2010-2011. Elementary students will attend Tobias Elementary for kindergarten-fifth grade. Wallace Middle school will service grades sixth-eighth. Students will attend Lehman High School for grades ninth-twelfth.
