Hometown Kyle is west of Interstate Highway 35 directly off FM 150. The community is close to Main Street which runs through the sleepy town of Kyle, Texas with restaurants, historical buildings and a Town Square. Don’t miss the Bar-B-Q and Homemade Texas Pie. Construction began in Hometown Kyle in early 2000 with homes approximately 1400 square feet and higher. Hometown Kyle Schools
Students in the community are part of the Hays Consolidated Independent School District. The public schools as of 2012 are Kyle Elementary which has a Gifted & Talented program, Wallace Middle School which is located in the community and Lehman High School which was built in 2004. There are also private schools in and around the city of Kyle. For a higher education, Austin Community College is opening a campus in Kyle and Texas State in San Marcos is less than 10 miles from Kyle.
