Plum Creek Education
Plum Creek is excited about the new Austin Community College opening at the intersection of Kohlers Crossing and Kyle Parkway. Ninety six acres has been purchased to accommodate the development and is expected to break ground in late summer or early fall of 2012. Texas State College is located in San Marcos, Texas approximately 10 miles south of Kyle or The University of Texas is located in Austin, Texas approximately 20 miles north of Kyle. As of 2012, elementary students attend Laura B. Negley Elementary School. The middle school is Barton Middle School and the high school is Jack C. Hays High.
