January 2020 homes sales started off with a bang compared to January 2019. Home sales increased as well as the median home price and the months of inventory went down. A sellers’ market is defined as 6 months or less of inventory and it is at a low of 1.6 months. So, in a nutshell, sellers are smiling, and buyers will need to put their best foot forward when preparing and presenting an offer in order to compete.
