5th Annual Fur Party Supporting Jack Jack’s Pack Street Dog Rescue
Every year, this event reminds me why community matters so much.
The 5th Annual Fur Party, held on April 25 at The ABGB, was another incredible day filled with great people, amazing local businesses, adorable dogs, and a shared purpose that means a lot to all of us—supporting Jack Jack’s Pack Street Dog Rescue.
This fundraiser has become one of my favorite events each year because it brings together so many people who care deeply about helping animals that truly need it most.
Jack Jack’s Pack Street Dog Rescue is a foster-based street dog rescue focused on helping lost, abandoned, abused, and injured dogs find safety, medical care, rehabilitation, and ultimately loving forever homes. Because they are foster-based, they rely heavily on community support, fosters, donations, and partnerships to continue doing this life-changing work.
Organizations like this are incredibly important because they help the animals that often don’t have anyone else advocating for them.
That mission is something that is very near and dear to me, and being able to help support it through this event means a lot.
A Day Full of Community, Dogs, and Giving Back
This year’s Fur Party had more energy than ever.
Guests enjoyed the silent auction, foster dogs available for adoption, and one of the newest additions this year — Puppy Prom and Best Dressed Pup voting — which quickly became a favorite part of the day for both guests and their dogs. Whether people came specifically for the fundraiser or were simply stopping by The ABGB for lunch and drinks, so many people chose to participate, donate, and support the cause.
We had more silent auction items than ever before, which made the event feel even bigger than last year and showed just how much this fundraiser continues to grow.
Final fundraising totals are still being finalized, and we’ll be sharing that update soon—but the turnout, generosity, and community support already made this year feel like a huge success.

This year, The ABGB donated 10% of food and drink sales during the event along with 100% of Jello Shot sales directly to the rescue.
