The Meadows at Double Creek is a small community in South Austin at the intersection of South 1st Street and FM 1626 on the west side of Interstate Highway 35. It is a prime location for easy access to the serenity of the hill country, south and west of the community or head north on South 1st for the excitement of local restaurants, window shopping and the popular downtown district. The community was established in 2007 and as of 2012 new homes are still being constructed. Home owners enjoy the sense of community that comes with a small development and a community park and playground.
